Facilities

Built in 1997, the school's appearance is a safe and clean environment. Students feel proud of their school and contribute to its cleanliness.

Providing safe and well-maintained schools is a top priority for the school district. To ensure that all classrooms and facilities are maintained in a manner that supports instruction, a scheduled maintenance program is administered by the district.

To further support learning, a variety of tutoring areas and resource rooms are available.

Teachers have access to a centralized workroom, reading resource room, staff-development room, and a multi-purpose media room.

Improvements are underway with funding from Proposition S. Improvements completed include a fence to accommodate the City of San Diego Parks and Recreation field. Additional work will include new marquee and elevator.

The school's location is convenient to I-5 and the I-805 freeways. Its proximity to Educational Cultural Complex and the Beckwourth Library make it conducive to learning and studying.

Our school facilities include a library, a nurse's office, a computer/parent center, classrooms and a cafeteria/multi-purpose room.

We have a computer lab staffed by a computer prep teacher.

We also have a after school Primetime room.
